Last Sunday, Pembroke Athleta Athletics Club held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Club premises. Members came together to review the past year, discuss upcoming events, and plan for the future of the club.
The AGM also included the election of committee members for the next two years as stipulated by the statue. While several familiar faces were re-elected, we sadly bid farewell to Michelle Micallef, who chose not to stand for re-election this year.
Acknowledging Michelle Micallef
Michelle has been an invaluable member of the Pembroke Athleta Committee for several years. Her dedication, tireless effort, and commitment to the growth and success of the club have left a lasting impact. From organising events to supporting athletes at every level, Michelle’s contribution has been central to the Club’s achievements.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Michelle for her years of service and wish her all the very best in her future endeavours. Her presence at the club will be greatly missed, and she will always be a part of the Pembroke Athleta family.
Looking Ahead
The AGM concluded on a positive note, with members looking forward to another successful season of athletics, triathlon, and community engagement at the Club. Together, we continue to strengthen Pembroke Athleta’s reputation as the Home of Local Athletics Champions.
